Caribbean Map Quiz

The Caribbean map quiz challenges you to find all 13 sovereign island nations of the region — and it is far trickier than its postcard reputation suggests. The Greater Antilles give you a running start: Cuba is the long unmistakable island in the northwest, Jamaica sits just below it, and Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the island of Hispaniola — remembering that Haiti takes the western third is the classic first trap. The Bahamas sprawl north of Cuba in a scatter of hundreds of islands that technically sit in the Atlantic, not the Caribbean Sea, yet still count. Then comes the real filter: the Lesser Antilles, a curving chain of tiny states — Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Grenada, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago — most rendered as clickable dots because they are minuscule at map scale. Getting their north-to-south order right is genuine expert territory. Each round names a country; click it to score. Correct answers lock in green, wrong clicks flash red, and after two misses the quiz reveals the answer so the arc finally sticks. Completely free, no signup, shuffled every round.

How to play

  1. The quiz names one of the 13 countries — find it and click it on the map.
  2. A correct click locks in green. A wrong click flashes red, and after two misses the quiz highlights the answer for you.
  3. You score a point for every first-try answer. Finish all 13, check your score, then replay — the order reshuffles every round.

Caribbean map quiz — FAQ

How many countries are in the Caribbean map quiz?
13 sovereign island nations: Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Dominica. Territories like Puerto Rico and Martinique appear as context, not targets.
Which Caribbean countries are hardest to find?
The Lesser Antilles chain causes the most misses — especially the north-to-south order of Saint Kitts, Antigua, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and Grenada. Confusing Dominica with the Dominican Republic is the other classic error.
Which side of Hispaniola is Haiti on?
Haiti occupies the western third of Hispaniola and the Dominican Republic the eastern two-thirds. It is the only island in the quiz shared by two sovereign countries, and mixing the two up is one of the most common wrong clicks.
