The flags of the Americas quiz spans two continents — 35 flags from Canada down to Chile and Argentina, one hemisphere-sized deck of lookalikes. The openers are friendly: the Stars and Stripes, Canada's maple leaf, Brazil's green diamond and starry globe. The traps live in the middle. Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela all fly the same yellow-blue-red tricolor inherited from Gran Colombia — Ecuador stacks a coat of arms on it, Venezuela adds an arc of eight stars, and Colombia leaves it plain. Central America is even tighter: El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Honduras all descend from the blue-white-blue banner of the old Federal Republic of Central America, differing only in the emblem or the five small stars at the center. Chile's lone-star flag gets mistaken for Texas constantly, Paraguay hides a different emblem on each side — the only national flag in the world that does — and the Caribbean counters with unmistakable designs like Barbados' black trident and Grenada's nutmeg. Each round shows one flag and four countries; guess right and the country flashes green on a map stretching from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, guess wrong and the answer appears on the spot. Free, no signup, reshuffled every round.
